Triple H bringing back ex-Universal Champion next week

A new report has claimed that Braun Strowman has rejoined WWE and will be appearing on Monday Night Raw next week.

Braun is set to follow in the footsteps of Johnny Gargano, Karrion Karrios, Dakota Kai and others in returning to WWE following Vince McMahon’s retirement.

PWInsider is reporting that Strowman’s return is just days away too, with the former Universal Champion set to be brought in for Monday Night Raw next week.

Former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman is returning to World Wrestling Entertainment, has learned.  Multiple WWE sources confirmed this morning Strowman will be at this Monday’s Raw in Kansas City.

Strowman was one of the most surprising WWE releases during the COVID-19 pandemic, being let go from the company in June 2021.

Many fans expected Braun to remain with WWE for the entirety of his wrestling career, but due to the reported big money deal he was on, the former Wyatt Family star was released.

However, with Triple H now running the show, Strowman is set to be brought back to WWE, and it seems like he’s going to be appearing on the Raw brand.

As of right now, there’s no word on how WWE plans on presenting Strowman, and it’s also unclear who he’s going to be feuding with upon his return to TV.

All we do know, at least at the time of writing, is that Braun has re-signed with WWE, and will be making his return to TV on September 5.

Next week’s episode of Raw is the first WWE show coming out of Clash at the Castle, which is set to take place on Saturday (September 3) in Cardiff.

With Extreme Rules taking place on October 8, Triple H will have around a month to book Strowman into a feud for the next Premium Live Event, but as noted earlier, his opponent for the show remains unclear.

Also rumoured to be coming back to WWE is Bray Wyatt, Strowman’s long-time stablemate. It also remains unclear whether or not Triple H is going to bring the duo back as an act together or not.
