Triple H has assumed control of the creative direction of the WWE after replacing Vince McMahon as the new Head of Creative prior to SummerSlam.
His first show was a major triumph, with fans lapping up what was on offer, including the already iconic tractor entrance from Brock Lesnar.
He also had Edge returning and is already looking like making him a permanent fixture after his long absence from the ring following a neck injury suffered way back in 2011.
SummerSlam also saw 50 hopefuls try out for the WWE, aiming to get a contract and ply their trade in the ring, entertaining millions worldwide.
Of those 50 trying out, 14 were invited to Orlando to train with the WWE and they received their first contract with the organisation.
The 14 standouts were put through the ringer, along with the other, unsuccessful candidates, putting themselves through three days of evaluations to try and earn that contract.
We don’t know how Triple H and his team conducted those tryouts, but it appears he got them to deliver their own promos given one interaction with one of the 14 mentioning his promo in his meeting with the new Head of Creative.

All successful candidates in Nashville were filmed talking to their new boss, with him offering the contract in heart-warming fashion, with the reactions absolutely priceless.
The wholesome footage was shared by the official WWE Recruit page on Twitter and is worth taking nine minutes out of your day to watch it, giving us a little insight into the next batch of hopefuls looking to be following in the footsteps of the likes of The Undertaker or Becky Lynch.
Many people will dream about becoming a WWE Superstar, with only a handful lucky enough to make it. However, with the continuous growth of the organisation, there’s always room for more and more Superstars with the weekly event still loved worldwide.
We don’t know what Triple H has in store for the organisation, but he’s certainly doing the right things so far.
His interactions, telling them that they had the contract, shows us how he was definitely cut out for such a big role, he’s very personable with the future stars of the show and makes the moments special.
Triple H’s next big task is the Clash at the Castle at the start of next month, with the largest event in the UK for 30 years taking place at Cardiff, GiveMeSport will have all the latest news and gossip from the pay-per-view event.
